Where does it all go? It's time to start gearing up for the Spring and Summer plans! I don't envy parents these days trying to balance everything, especially a budget, AND try to relax with your kids along with some"Me time." Seems to be getting tougher. Right?
Sitting together with a book is a great start. It doesn't matter who reads. Of course you can plan trips, look at maps and design a dream vacation that gives everyone something to look forward to... or it can be a plan filled with daytrips that don't break the bank. Local parks, beach days (and nights!)
Bar-B-Q or picnics can all bring friends and families together for lots of good memories.

About Halina
Halina Schafer made a decision to retire at the end of 2013. That was the year her first great-niece was born. Her plan was to build a scrapbook of events to give to the family on the baby's first birthday. When she did the following summer, it was the family who encouraged her to "do something more with this story." Halina had already changed careers from a Technician in Medical Pathology laboratories to become a Therapist/Administrator of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Clinics and , finally, to published Author in November of 2017.
The first book, "Fiona and the Extra Special Invisible Gifts" for ages birth through pre-school led to forming her own self-publishing company, Third-Career Press, LLC. Her second book, "Who Found Who" (an easy-reader chapter book for ages 5-9) practically wrote itself and was published in November of 2018. Halina has a third book out (2020) for "tweens" to assist with emotional resgulation: "You Can't Make Me" "So much for retirement!"
